A short video or reel may look like a casual post. Yet once music is involved, it can raise complex licensing questions. In today’s social media environment, a fun clip can double as marketing, and an influencer can also function as a brand. Music is being synced, shared and remixed at extraordinary speed, often far faster than rights can realistically be cleared. The line between content and commerce continues to blur.
