
Eric Reithler-Barros

Eric Reithler-Barros is a New York-made media and technology executive operating for 30+ years at the intersection of music creative industries, enterprise technology, and digital infrastructure. He is known for navigating and shaping periods of industry transformation.
He spent over a decade in senior international roles across Fortune 50 companies including Verizon, Level 3 Communications, Edgecast, and Johnson & Johnson, delivering large-scale infrastructure, cloud, and media services to global clients such as Sony Music, News Corp, and 20th Century Fox.
In music and live entertainment, Eric served as Global VP of SFX Entertainment, contributing to the scaling of a $1.4B platform that acquired and consolidated leading electronic music brands including Tomorrowland and Beatport. He was previously Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer of A2LiVE/STORM Festival in Shanghai, Asia’s largest touring electronic music festival and surrounding music ecosystem (DSP, brick & mortar music education, labels, artist management etc).
A serial builder across formats, he launched Art Revolver, an early subscription model for contemporary art in mainland China, and later became cofounding partner and CCO/CSO of RCRDSHP, one of the first platforms to bring music into the Web3 ecosystem.
Today, Eric is cofounding CEO of Fold Artists, a tech R&D company exploring ethical AI solutions to ensure that music/media rightsholders are recognized and compensated in the age of generative AI. He is also a visiting professor at Berklee College of Music, where he teaches in the Global Entertainment & Music Business master’s program.
Alongside his executive career, Eric mentors accelerators and young entrepreneurs, and also remains an active creator, with more than 200 music releases and having run four boutique indie record labels over a 36-year DJ and production career.
