Before joining Downtown, Bedikian spent five years at Because Publishing, where she progressed from an A&R intern to leading the international A&R department. During this time, Bedikian helped develop the local roster internationally and represented renowned foreign catalogs such as Beggars, Concord, Pulse, and Ministry of Sound. They also worked closely with artists from the Ed Banger crew, including Justice, SebastiAn, and Breakbot, as well as publishing signings like Metronomy, Christine and the Queens, and Foals.

In 2018, Bedikian joined Downtown Music Publishing to launch the French office and establish the brand in the region. Her first signing for the company, Victor le Masne, recently won a Grammy for his role as the composer and musical director of the Paris Olympics opening and closing ceremonies. Bedikian has also signed iconic French Touch artists like AIR, Boombass (Cassius), and Etienne de Crécy, alongside international talent such as Parcels, Spanish rising star pablopablo, and Italian legend Mina.
