Paul-Loup Marquise is a freelance entertainment industry consultant specialising in music rights, sync licensing, and copyright management.
Through his company, PL Marquise Consulting, he assists music supervisors, publishers, and production companies with sync clearance, catalogue management, and royalty tracking—navigating the complexities of music integration while maximising asset value.

He currently works alongside music supervisor Michelle de Vries as her music coordinator on film, TV, and documentary projects, including Get Away (Nick Frost, Sky), Together: Treble Winners (Netflix), and Doubters to Believers: Liverpool FC – Klopp’s Era (Amazon Prime).

As a publishing and sync agent for music publisher Extra Mile Music Limited, a company administered by BMG, he oversees catalogue management, copyright verification, and composer representation, securing opportunities for composers.

Extra Mile Music represents a diverse roster of talented songwriters and artists, including Dave Rowntree (Blur), Henry Priestman (The Christians, Yachts), Marius de Vries (Madonna, David Bowie), Mike Smith (Blur, Gorillaz), Eve Simpson, and Shirin Kalyani.

With a Master of Arts in Music Business from Berklee College of Music, Paul-Loup takes a creator-first approach to rights management, blending industry expertise with strategic insight.

When not immersed in sync deals, he is a passionate musician and gear enthusiast, often found recording his own projects, shredding on a Les Paul, playing his Jazz Bass, tweaking synths, and enjoying fusion jazz and California jazz rock.

A Cannes native, he loves hiking in the Esterel Mountains, sea rowing, and watching films with friends.
