MiCannes are thrilled to announce that we will be increasing our Live Music Showcases Programme across two Live Music Venues running complimentary Live Music Showcase Programmes on 4th, 5th & 6th June 2025. For the event program, see the Schedule page.
MiCannes International Live Music Showcases will be held at Morrison’s Irish Bar 10 Rue Tesseire Cannes 06400 on the 4th & 5th June.

France
LAMOUR takes a pop approach. Resolutely sincere, where lascivious rock embraces sensitive and provocative ballads under the cover of electronic productions (a la Factory records, Rough Trade)
Sharp electric guitar with sensitive, impertinent and heady lyrics where sarcasm and surreal humour are in the spotlight, carried by a crooner’s voice with contagious punk energy.
After opening for Peter Doherty and Frederic Lo on their French tour, which took them to the Salle Pleyel in Paris, LAMOUR finally unveils its first EP.

Frankie is a 19 year old upcoming indie pop artist, with inspirations such as Lorde, Gracie Abrams, and Phoebe Bridgers. Inspired by an upbringing in London, frankie infuses her lyric centric music with the heartbeat of the city underneath. Her love of lyricism of artists such as Joni Mitchell and Taylor Swift is evident in her most recent release, “knees”, and in “growing pains”, which explores struggles with identity and growing up in society today which displays how storytelling is always at the heart of her songs. frankie’s music has garnered support from BBC Introducing, with “landmine” featured on BBC Radio. With a love of musical theatre, her theatricality has always impacted her live shows, such as at headline gigs at The Troubadour and performances for The Basement Door. Her latest EP.

OFÉ is an undisguised and high-spirited artist shaking up French indie pop. Inspired by the likes of Archive, Radiohead and Alain Bashung, Ofé captivates from the very first seconds with extravagant tracks that blend electronic sounds, dreamy lyrics and hypnotic melodies. In spring, she will release her first EP, “Monde Imaginaire”, featuring 7 tracks!

Nadav Sivan

Meet Nadav Sivan – a singer, songwriter, musician and dancer, whose live show is attracting audiences all over the world after the release of his debut album ‘Til the Day we Die’.
Partially deaf until the age of four, Nadav underwent a major operation to repair his hearing. Following surgery his parents bought him a piano and there was no turning back. He became a top classical pianist, playing and competing all through his childhood and teens. Nadav then started writing his own music which ranges from emotional piano ballads to pure pop with electronic, hip- hop inspired productions and middle-eastern influences. In 2022 he released ‘Black Mirror’ followed in 2023 by the single ‘Us to Stop’ and his debut album ‘Til the Day We Die’ – 9 tracks of swagger, charm and melody.
Nadav writes and sings in English and his visuals are central to everything he does, bringing his music to life in an exceptionally vivid way. ‘Us to Stop’ – released in March 2023 – had 2 videos – a beautiful live version with full orchestra and the studio version which immersed viewers in Nadav’s story of family, love and loss whilst championing the LGBTQ community. These ‘Us To Stop’ videos have a combined total of nearly 90k views on YouTube and have won numerous film festival awards in the USA, UK, Italy and Sweden.
After a sellout show in Tel Aviv in September 23, Nadav also showcased his live show at Music Matters in Singapore with additional shows in Bangkok.
2024 has already seen the release of two live tracks and videos (My Skin and Paralysed) and there is new material due out very soon. In addition Nadav will be playing at WISE in Berlin in May and London in July.

“A folk duo whose voices combine to create a seamless flow of rich, harmonic beauty” ~ Americana UK
We are Zoë Wren and Jasmine Watkiss, two harmony-obsessed multi-instrumentalists who formed Folk-Americana duo Roswell after an impromptu open mic night in Cambridgeshire in 2018. Within a few months, we had won Purbeck Rising 2018 and released our debut EP ‘Remedy’, which won Fatea’s EP of the Year 2019.
We have supported incredible musicians like John Smith, Calan and Gilmore & Roberts, and played main stage shows at Purbeck Valley Folk Festival, Wimborne Minster Folk Festival and Fête de la Musique in Geneva.
Our second EP, ‘Come Home’, was produced by Dan Wilde and released in February 2020, with a tour including sold-out shows at the Green Note in London, The Stables in Milton Keynes and The Shelley Theatre in Bournemouth.
In 2023, we are currently writing and recording our debut album, with plans to release at the end of the year. Watch this space!

Saint Leonard, the rising lyrical dream-pop art rocker, is back with a new album that promises to be a mesmerizing and at times, veil of maya lifting experience. Having set out on a dedicated psycho-spiritual journey, Leonard has distilled his experiences into a new sound that explores innerspace, outerspace, and every state of mind in between.
Leonard’s previous album, ‘Good Luck Everybody,’ was recorded in the mysterious location of Stanley Kubrick’s former estate outside of London and was met with wide critical acclaim. He toured across the UK and Europe, supporting artists such as Patti Smith, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, and Father John Misty. In August 2023 Leonard released ‘Tell Me The Truth’ the first of three ‘Full Moon Singles’, followed by ‘God Give Me Strength’ and ‘Bell & Ecstasy’ on each sequential full moon. THE TIMES featured ‘Tell me the Truth’ as one of their essential tracks describing it as ‘Moody electro-pop, made with members of South London’s The Fat White Family, which has something of Bowie’s Berlin-era to it; Stylish and unusual’
The album is informed by his travels to India, audiences with spiritual leaders, and wild nights in hotel rooms in Berlin. From reckoning with Californian cults in a Shiva temple in Rishikesh to reading extracts from his novel to an audience of the Berlin art-scene, the new album ‘The Golden Hour’ promises to be a genre-bending blend of electronic, Indie & alt rock with intricate and esoteric sonic elements that will captivate listeners.
With his unique sound and captivating storytelling, Saint Leonard is a modern-day musical expeditionary, taking his listeners on a journey through all the known unknowns and lesser explored realms of the human experience. PETCH
Thailand
PETCH (Vimolwan Saisathit) is just 14 years old and has been busking on the streets of Bangkok ever since she could walk and hold a guitar, amassing thousands of performances, perfecting her guitar style and oozing confidence. She appeared on ‘Asia’s Got Talent’ when she was only eight years old and judge 16 time Grammy winner DAVID FOSTER predicted great things for her. Undaunted by being in lockdown for eighteen months Petch produced many videos of her covers of legendary artists such as JIMI HENDRIX, JOAN JETT, MOTÖRHEAD and GUNS N ROSES, showcasing her amazing guitar playing. After Covid, Petch was back busking in Bangkok when a cover of ‘Smoke on the Water’ by rock legends DEEP PURPLE came to the attention of RIVERMAN MANAGEMENT, after gaining two million views on Facebook (under Petch’s previous name PETTY ROCK). Riverman found PETCH an agent and she is now being booked for more festivals throughout summer.

Jemma Johnson

Jemma Johnson is a rising singer-songwriter from Derby who was raised on David Bowie, Paramore and Damien Rice, which bred a love of big choruses and lyrics that really hit home.
Having gigged with Charlie Simpson, Beth McCarthy, James Walsh, The Dunwells, Sunny Sweeney, Girlband!, Sofy, Andrew Cushin, Tiffany etc. Jemma is booked to play at Tramlines, Y-Not, The Rising, Castle Calling and Live At The Hall (BBC Introducing Stage) in 2024 and her live fanbase has been building rapidly, cemented by single releases and supporting UK tour dates.
